最近の旅行歴のない 40歳男性。2010年12月18日、発熱、発疹、頭痛を自覚。Taipei 台北市 [市中央部、松山空港のある] Songshan 松山区(District)の診療所で German measles [風疹、三日ばしか rubella] が疑われ、Taiwan CDC 台湾 疾病管制局により後に診断確定した。
感染源調査にて、同区に住む 44歳女性が 2010年11月中旬、同症状を発症した。医療機関で上気道感染症と診断されていたが、台湾 CDC 疾病管制局により後に風疹確定。

2010年11月上旬、彼女は日本に旅行したが、彼女が風疹を発症したとき、台湾と日本の間を行ったり来たりしていたので、感染場所を特定できなかった (台湾 CDC)。

Although she travelled to Japan during early November [2010], [the CDC] was not able to determine where she became infected with rubella as she was travelling back and forth between Taiwan and Japan when she developed her infection.

男性患者とは発症時期が異なるので、同じ松山区に住んでいても直接の関係はない。現時点では、他の疑い患者は報告されていない。
